Praised for her ‘deft musicality’ and ‘truly astonishing abilities’, Sally is much in demand as both soloist and chamber musician at major venues and festivals throughout the UK and abroad. Winning the Worshipful Company of Musicians’ ‘Maisie Lewis Award’ lead to Sally’s debut recital at the Wigmore Hall and in 2003 she was selected for representation by the Young Concert Artist Trust (YCAT). Her concerto work has included performances with the Northern Sinfonia, Scottish Ensemble and Britten Sinfonia. With Adam Walker (flute) she has performed Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields (Mostly Mozart Festival, Barbican). A keen advocate of expanding the repertoire for her instrument, she has given several world premieres of new works including Hugh Watkins’ Suite for Harp at the Presteigne Festval and has performed with the contemporary ensembles Lontano, Okeanos and the London Sinfonietta. Also in demand as an orchestral harpist, Sally regularly plays with orchestras including Northern Sinfonia, BBC Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, Royal Opera House, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Birmingham Royal Ballet.
